For one of our clients we are looking for an
Industry Client Finance Lead
The Industry Client Finance Lead will partner closely with the Industry Business Leader, Client Executives and Delivery leads to provide financial support across one Industry vertical within the client, participating in operational, financial and tactical decision making.
This role reports to the Head of Client Finance. In performing the essential functions of this role, the work environment is fast paced, intellectual and collaborative.
Financial Tasks/P&L Management
Monitor and analyze monthly operating statements
Prepare Industry Quarterly Business Review and Profit projections
Educates Client Executives and Group Account Directors in financial matters
Drive awareness of financial drivers
Drive cost consciousness throughout organization
Own weekly revenue estimation process, understanding and communicating key risks and opportunities to the wider business
Work in conjunction with Head of Client Finance and Country Finance teams to ensure Industry roll up accurate and key movements at Country levels are understood
Coordinate the annual commitment process for the Industry, setting operational targets needed to achieve current year commitment and long-term objectives
Develop (or drives the development of) tools to forecast future performance and model potential changes to their Team and/or BU operating model
Establish, or recommend to management, economic strategies, objectives, and policies for the team.
Provide senior management with timely reviews of Industry’s financial and operational status and progress in its various programs and activities
Assist in the design and implementation of mission critical policies and procedures
Support deal modelling and complex transactions with business leadership
Proactive partnership with business leaders to provide financial insight and recommendations based on financial analysis
Key partner to the Team Operations Lead to ensure the end to end management of the book of business. Understanding, and supporting the key dependencies
Work with other teams both within and outside Finance to ensure financial data and reporting is consistent and accurate
Develop effective financial reporting processes and systems as part of a team
Participate in design and implementation of BU and/or company strategy and operations agenda
Develop financial analysts in P&L analysis and operational success
5-7 years related work experience (with consulting or outsourcing companies, preferred)
Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to respond to questions from groups both inside and outside the organization
Ability to influence people and drive process, particularly at a Senior Management level
Analytical thinker with the ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Basic word processing, strong Excel spreadsheet skills.
Must be able to work effectively with teams and internal clients
