The Opportunity
In the eight years since we launched our Melbourne operation, we have gone from strength to strength. We have built a reputation for excellent delivery of systems assurance and systems engineering through our work on most major Victorian infrastructure projects and major defence programmes. We have achieved this, not by simply applying standards and procedures, but by understanding our clients’ needs and environments to identify and solve problems in a way that works for them and delivers real value.

Our Melbourne operation is growing strongly in response to sustained market demand and we are seeking a candidate to join our local leadership team and drive the next phase of our growth. The role will involve:

  • Line management responsibility for a team of staff, including resourcing, welfare and professional development.
  • Delivering excellent systems engineering and systems assurance services to our clients.
  • Delivery of business development in the Victorian Infrastructure market.
  • Development of proposals for consultancy work.
  • Responsibility for service development aligned to a specific part of our technical development strategy.

Requirements

Requirements

If our values resonate with yours and you have the following, we want to hear from you:

  • Bachelor of Engineering/Science Degree.
  • Strong networks in rail or other infrastructure programmes in Victoria.
  • Delivery experience in System Safety, Systems Engineering, Reliability, Availability and Maintainability, Risk Management or similar.
  • A desire to lead and grow a team.
  • Chartered Status with Engineers Australia (desirable).
  • Australian Citizenship and/or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence security clearance (essential).
