Inside Sales Representative
Role description
The Internal Sales Representative team is aligned to our sales regions and is an overall support system for the field sales organization. The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for all duties from prospecting to closing accounts with the field sales executive that they support. They work to prospect, generate and follow up on assigned marketing leads. The ISR works closely and is a leveraged selling arm for the direct field sales representatives that they are assigned to.
You will work with a team on a specific geographic territory to generate qualified leads, identify and maintain relationships with sales prospects, and close sales deals.
Responsibilities
Primary driver for new accounts coverage and partner enablement
Work closely with channel partners to drive marketing and sales activity
Identify and establish relationships with new business prospects and maintain relationships with the existing installed base
Navigate org charts through outbound prospecting to identify new opportunities. Sell/Market to large audiences (1:many) utilizing web conferencing technologies
Thoroughly follow up on the qualified leads; close and process orders
Focus on generating qualified leads through strategic planning, outbound calling, follow-up to marketing campaigns and fielding web site inquiries
Accurately document all activity in the VMWare CRM for Executive Staff forecasting

Follow up on qualified Lead passed by Marketing LDR from marketing events
Requirements
3-5 years inside sales or business development experience in a high-tech environment
Expertise in carrying/exceeding quotas
Proven success with high-volume outbound calling and prospecting
Strong abilities in prospecting, lead qualification and closing
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
Must be effective in working both independently and in a team setting
Strong proficiency with Excel and experience with Siebel preferred
BA/BS or equivalent required
Good English communication skill in reading and writing
