Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strong focus and involvement in New Product Development and the innovation pipeline, reviewing business objectives with Category Marketing management, in order to develop, manage and execute research plans to best meet them.
  • Discuss customer understanding needs with category marketing and recommend concrete research plans and methodologies to meet those needs
  • Enable teams to identify high impact growth opportunities through insight integration and strategic influencing
  • Build together the Category insights for Value Propositions and claims process

Customer Insights:

  • Develop a deep understanding of customers, end user partners insights and pathways.
  • Share and aid understanding of customer learning by building local customer insights
  • Scope and conduct analysis, translate findings into a set of insights towards Account Based Marketing.
  • Use new digital tools for faster insights generation
  • Train and educate marketing/sales/retail category development in the understanding and utility of customer insight   
  • Help drive with data the Design Thinking/Co-Creation process towards Insight generation or other tools for a structured approach

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Psychology, Marketing, Customer Behavior or related field
  • 5 years’ experience in marketing, consulting or market research / insights, marketing analytics, corporate or agency with experience conducting analysis of primary qualitative & quantitative market research data;
  • Intellectually curious and analytically rigorous, strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, a proactive approach, excel and power point power user; strong planner and problem solver;
  • Must display strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate analyses into easily digestible stories for senior management consumption;
  • Ability to understand business strategies, tactics and implement measurable research plans
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills, relationship building and team-work; Ability to manage through ambiguity;
  • Exceptional project management
  • Change Management understanding and experience
