Profile Summary

HealthAsyst is looking for an Instructional Designer / Content Developer - Training to join our team. If you are the right candidate, you will create learning experiences that will help our customers become experts in using our product. You will be enthusiastic and passionate about developing online Self-service training solutions and delivering remote training.

You should have the desire to become a product expert. You'll roll up your sleeves and engage directly with various teams to understand our customers' challenges and make sure our training is effective. On a day-to-day basis, you will:

• Develop overall training curriculum and content for the product
• Analyze existing content, identify and fix gaps
• Perform content chunking and sequencing for learning modules
• Determine the overall effectiveness of the learning program and make improvements
• Engage with cross-functional teams who have varying levels of involvement with the training initiative, and maintain relationships to build reliable internal SME support.
• Embrace different styles of training techniques, including video tutorials, best practices, FAQs, How-to guides, and live training
• Drive best practices for customer adoption and engagement
• Design, develop, and create storyboards, on-screen-texts and audio scripts for use in learning programs
• Use graphic design methods and tools to develop relevant diagrams and graphics following a corporate style
• Use open-source video editing tools for video recording and editing

Desired profile

• Bachelor's degree with at least 3+ years of work experience in developing and delivering creative and engaging training content for non-technical users
• Ability to learn new concepts, applications and solve problems
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate ideas and work collaboratively to get things done
• Familiarity with scientific principles in cognition that support better learning
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Creative and story-telling abilities
• A confident and engaging facilitator with excellent presentation skills
• Excellent skills in PowerPoint and open-source tools for graphic and video editing is desirable
• Samples of training videos and courseware will be required during the interview process.

• Hands-on work experience developing and delivering learning content on a technology product/Highly creative technical writer who would like to explore different formats of content
• Healthcare domain knowledge is highly desired
• You are a lifelong learner who assimilates new information quickly to untangle complex concepts and build engaging content
• You can effectively communicate orally and in writing
• High level of motivation, self-starter, attention to detail, excellent at follow-up, team-player with the ability to deliver assignments within defined timeline
