Job Description

Position Objective: Provide a planned and coordinated program, course, curriculum, subject or routine instruction in professional, technical, administrative, or other fields designed to improve individual and organization performance and assist in achieving the agency’s mission in Army maintenance training for unit readiness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Provide training and planning the movement of personnel and equipment, conducting transportation operations at the company level (deployment planning and tactical convoy operations), planning movement management in a theater of operations, conducting motor transport planning, implementing distribution management procedures, identifying unit movement officer responsibilities and conducting tactical convoy operations
+ Perform CLS duties during field training exercises
+ Drive GSA vehicles
+ Support department administrative actions
+ Assist with any practical exercises or field training exercises
+ Schedule, prepare, set up, and draw equipment during the preparation phase; assist with and evaluate during the execution phase; tear down, collect, and turn in all equipment during the recovery phase associated with indoor and outdoor field events and graduations
+ Assist students during logistics and field exercises, computer simulations, and student projects by the use of their leadership and sustainment expertise
+ Provide remediation as required for students needing additional instruction
+ Review and recommend changes to lesson plans
+ Perform reviews of assigned draft doctrinal manuals to contribute to doctrinal development
+ Determine requirements for support troops, tactical vehicles, weapons, communications, sound, visual and special equipment, as well as specialized equipment identified in the Training Resource Management Scheduling System (TRMSS) and Letter of Instruction (LOIs) for special events
+ Analyze scheduling, equipment and facility support
+ Recommend solutions to alleviate conflicts and follow through on adjustments to de-conflict schedule
+ Attend training meetings and coordination meetings
+ Able to read and adhere to Programs of Instructions (POIs) and C/B TTPs
+ Conduct Roadside Evaluations
+ Conduct other training requirement as deemed

+ Prepare and deliver briefings, point papers, reports, fact sheets, and respond to their assigned command.
+ Assist the G4 LARAP Manager in developing a logistics assessment, review, and analysis program that are compliant with the intent and the published policies and procedures of the supported Senior Mission Commander. The program shall be based on applicable Army regulations, field manuals, technical manuals, Safety of Use Messages (SOUM’s), Maintenance Advisory Messages (MAM’s), FORSCOM and local command supplements, and any other applicable governing directives and policies of federal, state, and local agencies. This program shall focus on those activities, practices, and procedures directly related to logistics readiness.
+ Provide a comprehensive assessment of logistics training and shall define training requirements to include:

+ An analysis of perishable skills
+ Identification of Terminal Learning Objectives (TLO)
+ Development of outcome metrics
+ Development of test materials and hands-on evaluation for logistics training

+ Draft training curricula for G4 approval designed for delivery in the operational environment and shall emphasize hands on instruction for soldiers. The Contractor shall assist the G4 in: identifying and defining requirements for systems embedded training; determining Training Aids, Devices, Simulations and Simulators (TADSS) requirements and coordinate development of TADSS materials. Where standardized Army training documentation is not available, the Contractor shall assist in developing associated POI materials such as lesson plans, student handouts and instructor manuals for G4 approval. The Contractor shall assist in preparing specialized Training Support Packages such as continuing education, remedial training, rapid–train–up, and sustainment training, when required by the COR/ACOR. At no time will these training support packages drafted by the current Contractor be handed to another contractor or their personnel. Training will be accomplished in unit facilities, when possible, or alternatively in an installation classroom depending upon the materials required for training. The soldiers’ assigned equipment will be used for training, whenever possible. The hours for training will be coordinated with the training organization.
+ Coordinate and perform cyclic quality assurance assistance to supported units. The Contractor shall provide informal assessments, advice, and assistance of the unit for compliance with the cited programs and provide the feedback to the Corps and Division Commanders for consideration
+ Establish verification systems to identify deficiencies and shortcomings by examining unit maintenance and supply activities and processes to ensure compliance with applicable Army Regulations, field manuals, technical publications, and FORSCOM policies.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Secret clearance
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Five years’ experience in the discipline in which support is provided including ;The Army Maintenance Management System; The Army Materiel Maintenance Policy; Supply Policy Below the National Level; Using Unit Supply Systems; Physical Security; and Environmental Program
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) or Foundation Instructor Facilitation Course (FIFC) (Must be completed within 90 days of employment)
+ Unit Movement Officer Certified (Must be completed within 90 days of employment)
+ Knowledge of Army Correspondence regulations
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
+ Proficiency in the following Logistics Information Systems: GCSS-ARMY;
+ Knowledgeable in: Army Award For Maintenance Excellence; Army Oil Analysis Program; Army Warranty Program; Sample Data Collection Program; Army Modification Program; Army maintenance Floats; Drivers Training; Product quality deficiency and/or improvement reports; Administrative storage of materiel; Army tire retread program; Tool improvement program; National Maintenance Program; Ground safety Notification System; Army Corrosion Prevention and Control Program; Army Battery Program; Property Accountability; Financial Liability Investigation Property Loss; Inventory and inventory adjustments;
+ Strong back ground and training in Army maintenance operations to include:

+ Experience repairing Army Track or Wheel vehicles
+ Experience with unit level maintenance
+ Experience in Motor Pool operations
+ Experience with Army maintenance STAMIS
+ Strong instructor skills

+ Experience developing TRADOC standard lesson material
+ Up to 75% travel required to attend meetings, conference and trainings.
