We are seeking candidates to join our Sales Team. The International Business Development Consultant acts as the primary contact for International Partners/Key Accounts and is responsible for directly contributing to revenue growth and maintaining MHS’ brand as the expert in Talent Assessment, Solutions and Simulations through the acquisition of new customers/partners and the management of current accounts.

Key areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute daily and monthly sales plans and assist in the development and execution of the annual sales plan
  • Identify and target sales leads and new potential distribution partners
  • Systematically create and execute e-mail, telephone, and in-person lead development strategies in conjunction with Marketing and International Distributors/Partners and Key Accounts.
  • Continually increase sales and create value by analyzing customer needs, country/market requirements, synthesizing information, and creating and executing innovative solutions that result in opportunities with new customers and enhance relationships with existing customers
  • Understand and anticipate international market opportunities, issues and trends – and use this knowledge to develop strategies and action plans that optimize business results in the global marketplace
  • Work cross-functionally with R&D, Customer Service, Marketing and Legal Departments to best support International Distributors/Partners in the effective promotion, training and re-selling of Performance Assessment products
  • Conduct and facilitate contractual negotiations for International Distributors/Partners.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the sales process and what is required for products and customized solutions to be successful
  • Develop deep understanding of International Partner’s business/market challenges, objectives and strategies to create innovative, customer - centric solutions as well as providing sales and marketing consultation to help grow their respective businesses
  • Develop and maintain a systematic call plan and maintain a current database of customer and sales information
  • Attend industry conferences in both North America and International markets in order to engage new prospects and increase MHS’ exposure as we as conduct virtual and in-person presentations in order to demonstrate the value of MHS products, solutions and services in meeting customer needs


Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience with senior-level professional clientele and a proven track record of achieving results
  • Ability to travel internationally (up to 30%)
  • Understanding of Psychological Assessments industry an asset
  • Expertise with and Microsoft Office 365
