You will be working under the supervision of your manager who will help you identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.

Taking into account the specific aeronautical context (flight efficiency and dynamic, Air Traffic Management constraint …) the internship aims at building methodology and tools to evaluate trajectory predictions by:

  • Identifying the relevant parameters characterizing a flight (trajectory, flight plan...)
  • Developing methods and finding criteria in order to compare several trajectories (3D position, time, shape, trend, …)
  • Assessing flight trajectory quality based on these methods and criteria
  • Qualifying a given trajectory with a confidence index and its associated statistics

The intern will have to work closely with another project related to AI that provides simulated flight trajectories to be evaluated (always within the framework of another internship).
