Mobile is intrinsic to our global business, with 80% of our users utilising our mobile platforms to interact with the site. And of course, iOS plays a central role in this. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable mobile applications for the iOS platform, maintaining them and adding new features as we update the desktop site. And not only will you build software that scales, but you will have the chance to ship code on your first day, and get instant feedback from millions of users worldwide.

Requirements

  • A tertiary degree in Computer Science / Engineering (or Related). MS or PhD a plus
  • Proven experience building iOS apps with published work on the App Store
  • A deep familiarity with Objective-C and Swift programming languages
  • Experience working with iOS technologies such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Graphics, localisation, etc.
  • Solid experience in Git, Cocoapods, JSON, REST
  • Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
  • Able to run performance analysis and optimise away application bottlenecks
