Cloud Automation Engineer
As a Cloud Automation Engineer in the Enterprise Networks business unit you will be working with a set of highly motivated engineers who are helping define, test and qualify next gen IoT (Enterprise level) which will transform into smart cities, universities etc. You will be working on some of the cutting-edge technologies of IoT protocols such as BLE, Zigbee, LoRa etc. as well on cloud platforms to test and automate the Ruckus IoT suite in the cloud
Responsibilities
As a Cloud Automation Engineer in this team you will be responsible for end to end test automation framework, test suites and scale tests, tool development and ownership.
Reviewing Test Plan and Test cases for new features and functionality to come up with ways to automate the testcases
Designing and architecting different automation testbeds for quality release
Working across teams to understand requirements and coming up with innovative solutions for qualifying the stability
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or similar engineering stream
8+ years of hands on work experience in WiFi testing including 4+ years of hands on experience in Cloud platforms
Responsibilities:
Strong programming experience preferably with Java and/or Python
Extensive experience in building highly maintainable, flexible and scalable testing frameworks
Hands on experience building and maintaining tests suites, preferably with Open Source frameworks such as Robot, Cucumber, etc.
Proven ability to apply data structures and algorithms to practical problems
Experience with Cloud products and technologies – micro services architecture, API, GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, dockers, containers
Hands-on experience building CICD pipeline and dashboards for monitoring and alerts around test failures
Experienced in WiFi functional testing
Experience in L2/L3 networking
Experience in bug tracking tools like Jira/Bugzilla and test repository like Testlink
Analyzing and debugging using packet capture tools like omnipeek, wireshark etc.
Familiarity with WiFi and low power wireless protocols such as BLE, Zigbee, Z-Wave or LoRa is an added advantage
Good written and verbal communication skills.
