Intersnack IT KG is a member of the Pfeifer & Langen Industrie- und Handels-KG's group of companies and a sister company to Intersnack Group. Established from the international harmonisation and centralisation of Intersnack Group's IT estate, we are responsible for all group-wide IT services for and within Intersnack Group. It's our target to provide the common IT infrastructure, aligned IT services and business solutions according to Intersnack's requirements. Based on a solid digital foundation Intersnack IT KG acts as a partner to all Intersnack functions, actively contributing to Intersnack's business strategy.


Purpose of the position

Intersnack IT started an IT-harmonization project called "InGrIT" which will connect and harmonise the IT infrastructure and desktop application landscape for all Management Units. The overall objective is to deliver easy and user-friendly IT services to ensure operational continuity and efficiency in the core business of snack production. All necessary international transition activities are bundled in Programme InGrIT. As anIT Program Manager, you will lead and coordinate 22 international templated transition projects in 16 European countries. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver value to the customer, meeting the effort's scope, budget, and timeline. Projects will be in disparate geographic locations and require strong communication skills to coordinate onsite and remote work with teams. You will focus on delivering the design, procurement, deployment, and lifecycle of IT infrastructure delivery and equipment. As a single point of contact for the project team, you will be responsible for end-to-end project management.


In this role, you will work proactively with partners across the organisation to perform:

  • Task and milestone planning and tracking.
  • Risk assessment and mitigation planning.
  • Managing and coordinating all stakeholder communication, including reporting.
  • Developing repeatable processes, policy development, support practices and documentation.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities:


  • Own the delivery of the Infrastructure Standardisation Programme (InGrIT) with the defined interfaces to Business Units and suppliers against time, budget, and scope definitions - collaborating and escalating as necessary.

  • Own the project plan and its delivery in close collaboration with our Business Service Partners

  • Ensure completion of all functional and project management deliverables assigned to internal or business consulting resources.

  • Ensure completion of transition milestone and sign-off by the Management Units' management team.

  • Monitor and report progress and manage the resolution of transition issues.

  • Ensure alignment with other projects/ initiatives on a business-wide and local scale to impact on delivery.

  • Manage the allocation of business resources to work packages and deliverables.

  • Accountable for ensuring the change management aspect of the implementation have been identified, signed-off, planned and successfully executed by the local team.

  • Coordinate the collaboration between the transition teams and the local IT departments.

  • Ensure that the different projects of the programme follow the Intersnack PM standards and guidelines as derived from PRINCE2.


Education & Experience:

  • Successful candidates have at least ten years of Project Management experience and 7 years in Program and Portfolio Management in IT Service transition and rollouts in a large enterprise/multinational organisation with multiple physical locations.
  • Must have experience with outsourced Service Partners or Managed Service Providers in a multi-region and multi-disciplinary program environment.
  • Experience as a leader and mentor for project teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Must hold one of the following Project management certifications (PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or APM PPQ).
  • The leadership of internal and external teams without direct reporting lines
  • A high degree of initiative and willingness to go the extra mile where required.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, can present complex technical information clearly and concisely to various audiences in a highly virtual teams' environment.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written the English language is a must, and German is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience

This role will require the ability to travel frequently – expected peak level of travel is approx. 4 days/week.
