Based in Munich, you are part of a global team at AGCS. In this role your responsibilities include developing and maintaining the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application and infrastructure landscape, with a particular focus on financial accounting, treasury, cost controlling, and materials management, in order to deliver an integrated solution and standardized approach to the AGCS community. You will also be responsible for the analysis, implementation, and documentation of IT processes, systems, and technical designs on a global basis. Additionally, you will be accountable for planning, executing and following-up on Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) for IT, the support of IT audits and monitoring. You will report on all audit findings, including non-IT audits where IT findings are determined.
In this role you will…
Analyze, design, customize, configure and / or program the SAP ERP application and components, specifically the FI, CO, and MM modules by working closely with business stakeholders, IT operations, and external vendors in an agile delivery framework
Plan and execute the implementation of new interfaces, components, add-ins, or programs on the ERP application, when required
Ensure stability and performance of the ERP processes and programs through regular maintenance activities
Conducts analyses on whether IT policies / standards are being followed, follow up and apply improvements and remediations where necessary, report to IT management on results
Perform peer reviews for the code quality and ensure compliance to all standards and guidelines for software programming
Ensure audit and ICOFR compliance of the ERP systems and processes, especially in the areas of data quality, access management, user authorizations, and system integrity
Develop and define a wide range of documentation, such as presentations, technical designs, functional specifications, system requirements, etc.
Contribute to the preparation of test cases using automated testing software and work closely with the test managers, analysts and business stakeholders during all phases of testing
Work on the effective design of IT solutions by bringing in the element of technology and architecture for the design solution according to industry best practices
Investigate IT procedures, standards and/or guidelines (including AGCS as well as Group IT standards) to evaluate existing or new systems / processes then document, report, and present findings
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Management, Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
About 3 years of professional experience within the IT industry, ideally in the financial services sector, incl. working experience in developing and maintaining an SAP ERP application (EHP7 or higher), especially the FI or CO modules
Proven working experience in managing tasks and projects in a global environment, preferably in an agile mode (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban, or SAFe); any experience working in a DevOps environment is also preferable
Good experience in OOPS, ALE IDOCS, RFCs and BAPIs
Basic knowledge of SAP ABAP and SQL programming languages
Proven knowledge and understanding of SDLC, ITIL and agile software development
Excellent coordination of requirements and delivery between stakeholders / customers and the IT community
Very good communication skills and problem-solving approach
Team spirit, proactive mindset, and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
Fluency in English (verbal and written) is mandatory, German language skills would be an advantage
