This role is part of the global infrastructure team and you will be responsible for daily operations and continuous improvements. You may participate in various projects where you offer support or implement solutions, which involves interaction with local and European stakeholders. We believe you have a genuine interest in all parts of the IT infrastructure; software, hardware, databases and networks.
You will be working closely together with the IT manager and a System Administrator to provide Repligen’s growing need for IT support. You carry a pro-active and can-do attitude with an open mind and high energy, you enjoy problem solving as well as developing ideas.
Interact daily with clients at all levels of the organization at various sites
Troubleshoot hardware, application, server and network issues
Identify root causes and provide solutions for permanent fixes
Follow up on requests and ensure timely completion
Install, patch, upgrade and monitor systems and infrastructure
Participate in planning of the IT architecture. Identify gaps and areas of improvement
Conduct periodic exercises such as test restore, access review, security assessment and training
Develop and maintain appropriate system documentation and procedures
Interpret business needs into functional requirements and project specifications
Support and take ownership of the enterprise environment as assigned within the European IT department
Work with consultants or vendors to drive and oversee project implementation
Identify areas for improvement by defining and/or developing business processes/procedures by researching and identifying enabling systems/technologies
Technical knowledge in Windows, vmWare/Hyper-V, AD, GPO, M365, AWS/Azure, Sharepoint.
3-5 years ‘experience within IT support and administration
Fluent in Dutch and very good written and spoken English
Familiar with switches and networking, storage, servers and clients
Ability to multitask and manage time with limited supervision
Great communication and inter-personal skills
Good documentation skills
Experience working with ITIL or/and service desk
Experience working with regulatory standards such as SOX, ISO, GDPR and GMP
Experience from working in a small-medium IT organization
