The Role

This is a unique opportunity to join the Enterprise Risk and HSE IT team in an 18 month contract role that is accountable for the end to end oversight for the delivery of Origin’s Corporate and Enterprise IT systems. This is your chance to work across the breadth of Origin, partner closely with a complex network of business units and stakeholders and play an integral role in determining the future approach of this team and the value it delivers business wide.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Act as the single point of contact for the service - currently OCIS (EHS Manager 360) and Readinow
  • End-to-end DevOps service accountability (e.g., reporting, strategy and performance)
  • Identify business requirements, coordinate integration and manage delivery of changes through agile sprints
  • Ensure service run and operational requirements are met – actively monitoring stability and performance
  • Escalate demand and capacity issues for the service

You’ll need to be technically astute with excellent communication skills, capable of operating independently as well as within the team.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated DevOps experience supporting IT applications or IT services in a large organisation
  • Strong consultation, communication and service experience, and ability to work across varied groups with diverse needs
  • Experience working with Risk, Health, Safety and Environment processes in the energy sector
  • A strong testing background with experience developing test plans, test cases, test scripts and documentation of results
  • Experience working with agile methodology in Jira is advantageous
