Objective of the position: The ITC-MX Specialist - Fiscal Deposit Control is in in charge of the compliant and accurate processing of the Month-end Closure, Duty Payment and extractions from the Fiscal Deposit, in coordination with the ITC-MX Trade Systems & Fiscal Deposit Lead. The Specialist is also responsible to ensure the establishment and maintenance of control points to new and existing processes, in the framework of the corporate policy and the Trade Compliance framework, as well as for the management, and compliance with Fiscal Deposit Valuation & Balance Control.
The specialist is also in charge of supporting the Trade Systems & Fiscal Deposit Lead in implementing new systems, testing and supporting the Administration of Fiscal Deposit Systems

Indispensable Requirements (Candidates who do not meet these requirements may be discarded):

  • Advanced English (C1)
  • Experience in international trade and customs laws in Mexico Customs, Customs Brokerage
  • Knowledge of customs related reporting and KPIs
  • Management of data management tools (Excel / Access)

Academic Knowledge: Degree in International Trade or related field

Main Functions:

-Ensure the timely processing of Fiscal Deposit Month-end process and extractions (Domestic & Export), improving processes, detecting opportunities and keeping the correct controls of the process

-Ensure the Fiscal Deposit Balance Control Monitoring, continuous follow up and implementation of corrective actions to ensure proper controls

-Ensure the correct processing of Adjustment Factor calculation, Regla Octava usage and work with ITC-MX FTA to ensure the Import Duty payment factors are kept in minimum levels.

-Support the Trade Systems & Fiscal Deposit Lead in the Management of Trade Systems solutions,Testingand New Implementation

-Execute internal control activities to ensure the adherence of processes to corporate and legal standards
