Our core offering centres on openEQUELLA, a digital repository for housing teaching/learning, research, media, and library content in one platform is currently in use at a wide range of schools, universities, colleges, TAFEs, departments of education, government agencies, and corporations worldwide. openEQUELLA has been developed in Tasmania since 2002.
We're looking for a developer to help create the next generation repository - deploying a cloud-based architecture using Java, React and other technologies. The existing Java platform offers great flexibility and stability - with Edalex’s hosting availability exceeding 99.992% since inception. We are extending the platform using cloud models to enable further rapid innovation.
We help our long-term university, TAFE, department of education and commercial clients across the Asia Pacific region effectively manage, share and deliver content to more than 1 million academics and students across the region.
We’re looking for the right person to join our growing development team. That person has proven development experience in the workplace, using Java and other leading technologies. We’re deploying cool technologies to improve the educational experience. We've got a fun and productive work environment at WOTSO Hobart, plus flexibility to work from home. Edalex is an energetic, focused, smart and fun team looking to make a real impact. Wanna help?
