Roles & Responsibilities

As Junior Consultant in Sustainability/ESG Services, which is part of KPMG Advisory, you will be involved in the delivery of projects and business development activities in connection with sustainability/ESG-related challenges and opportunities. You will have the opportunity to help shape the Sustainability/ESG agenda of well-known, internationally- active companies and other organizations. You will be working all the way from Sustainability/ESG strategy development over implementation to measurement and reporting.

Your role will be highly varied and will involve working in a supportive, young and dynamic team dedicated to Sustainability / ESG Services. You will also work together with Advisors from other Competence Groups.

The range of clients and the projects you will work on, offers continuous challenge and a constantly shifting workload. You will be in regular contact with clients requiring travel to client sites on a national and sometimes international basis.

Skills & Qualifications

  • You (will soon) hold a Master degree in Applied Economics, Commercial Engineering, Bio Engineering or Business Studies. An additional Master in Environmental Sciences or other Sustainability-related disciplines is considered a strong added value.
  • You have a keen interest in Sustainability/ESG and are informed about recent evolutions in the broader Sustainability/ESG landscape (both regulatory and in business). A first experience in sustainability is a plus .
  • You thrive in a working environment that is project-based.
  • You have a high degree of computer literacy and strong quantitative proficiency.
  • You are client-focused and a team player.
  • You have an analytical mindset and hands-on approach.
  • You exhibit a can-do mentality.
  • You are fluent in Dutch or French and proficient in English. Mastery of other languages is a plus.
