The Junior Graphic Designer will provide design, creative, and production support as part of the in-house Branding and Creative Services team. The Jr. Graphic Designer will assist and support Regina-based creative team on a diverse range of projects including corporate and marketing collateral, events materials, large format graphics, advertisements and related material.

Required Skills
  • Assist creative team with production support including re-sizing and re-purposing media assets
  • Create high-quality corporate and product/services marketing materials from concept to final production
  • Work closely within a creative team to ensure a collaborative/consistent approach
  • Produce finished creative and artwork for production and/or placement by ensuring that all creative material is provided in the correct format for publication including file preparation and output, prepress and proofing
  • Communicating effectively with internal clients and other team members
  • Producing attractive and effective design for digital and traditional media
  • Ensure all-round compliance of creative material to all brand elements including look and feel, brand attributes, values, corporate and visual identity
  • Provide quality control over concepts and projects to ensure brand consistency
Required Experience
  • Strong working knowledge of graphics and design fundamentals
  • Highest level of attention to detail with creative and artistic ability
  • Strong skills in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop on a Mac platform.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, After-Effects, Premiere, and Sketchup is an advantage
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload
  • Computer literate: Technical knowledge of related programs and computer software
  • Diploma or Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design
