The Role:
Iress has a strong client service ethos and prides itself on being a client driven, responsive company, able to proactively assist our clients’ businesses by providing solutions. A Key Account Manager in the Market Data, Trading and Investment Management team is a primary contact for new business opportunities and the relationship manager for a portfolio of clients, developing their knowledge and use of the Iress product suite, while enhancing their relationship with the company

What you will be doing:

  • Positioned as the person who represents Iress but can access a range of business and IT specialists including consultants, product specialists and senior management at Iress to deliver the required solution and/or level of service to the client

  • Responsible for the client experience including service delivery from other departments to ensure consistent with client expectations 

  • Responsible for new business activity, revenue retention and growth from both new and existing clients

  • Develop and annual business plan for each client based on their strategic direction and opportunities to partner with them 

  • Required to effectively demonstrate Iress products and solutions as well as the placement of Iress products 

  • Assist clients to ensure full utilisation and maximum value of Iress Products 

  • Undertake commercial negotiations and pricing reviews 

  • Represent Iress or present at conferences and industry events where relevant 

  • Manage client complaints in an effective manner and deal with escalated issues Assist with developing and managing a sales pipeline

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What you will need:

  • Proven strong client relationship management and influencing skills 

  • B2B sales ability and experience with tenders and commercial negotiations 

  • Ability to set revenue objectives for new business and cross sell 

  • Knowledge of Iress software functionality and features as well as an aptitude for understanding ongoing practical application in the sector 

  • Knowledge of competitive landscape and software industry trends 

  • Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal and written) 

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast, ever changing environment 

  • Advanced, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and or G-Suite 

  • Qualifications: Degree qualified in a relevant field, ie. commerce, business or management, or 10 years suitable and relevant industry experience
