A Typical Day Will Include:


As a Key Account Manager working in the Immunology & HAE Business Unit, you will be empowered to lead the account approach , and will work closely with a wide group of internal and external stakeholders.

  • You analyze your territory and develop deep local insights into priority accounts and their stakeholders in order to shape and implement innovative offerings to meet account needs
  • You formulate comprehensive account plans to build, manage and improve trustful relationships with key stakeholders, whilst adding value to patients and maximizing Takeda performance
  • You align the cross functional account team around common goals and objectives and drive x-fun execution of the regional operational plan while ensuring high standard and excellent customer experience
  • You collaborate with internal stakeholders guarantying adequate resources and support for flawless in-field execution 
  • You conduct customer delivering and promote product and therapeutic knowledge, detailing to prescribers and other relevant external stakeholders

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor or master degree
  • Proven results in promoting pharmaceutical products with high demand of clinical explanation
  • Deep understanding of hospitals’ DMUs and experience in communicating and influencing the healthcare decision-makers and managing complex networks
  • High level of strategic and analytical thinking around a product
  • An entrepreneurial mind-set combined with solid business acumen uncovering unmet needs, identifying risks, barriers and opportunities at a regional level
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Leadership, communication and influencing skills
  • Existing network of Dutch Immunologists, Neurologists, Pediatricians, Pulmonologists, Hematologists and/or Oncologists  (preferred, but not a must)
  • Fluent language capabilities in Dutch & English
