We are looking for a Key account manager within the Partnership and affinity department with a good experience in the insurance industry and/or key account management.
At Allianz Care, The Partnership and affinity department is primarily responsible for developing and supporting new partners/territories & products with MGA, MGU, brokers or insurance companies in order to actively contribute to the Allianz Care growth strategy.
Your role as Key Account Manager will be to maintain the existing business portfolio and to develop new commercially relationships with insurance Companies (including Allianz entities), major distributors and potential clients.
Activities will cover all business matters of the ongoing Health and Life / Disability business, and support Allianz Partners strategy and initiatives.
The role reports to Allianz Care Business development manager.
Implement strategic sales for Partnership & Affinity business
Gains growth via new business and high customer retention
Actively develops sustainable business accounts in a given geographic area
Establishes key relationships with senior level management of our clients.
Coordinates the implementation of international programs within the Group (reinsurance, captive, pools and fronting arrangements) with all internal stakeholders (Legal, Pricing, Monitoring, Administration,…)
Ability to present the Group services and provides training, sales support and other similar services to partners
Maintains all on-going client relationships including the handling of issues and problems as well as the pro-active establishment of client satisfaction.
Establishes and maintains all appropriate record keeping and head office reporting as required.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience within our industry (international health/life insurance or financial services area), ideally with a background in product design/business development experience or reinsurance.
Fluent in English and French. A third language is a plus.
Understands the market, interrelationships and implications
Demonstrable experience in developing long-term relationships with corporate clients.
Proven record of consistent delivery of sales targets.
Experience with multi-channels and with major agents/brokers
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under a matrix configuration
Good interpersonal skills, ability to adapt to different stakeholders on all hierarchical levels
Strong communicator (verbal & written), convincing, getting buy-in from people
Ability to work under pressure and with short deadlines
Ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively
Analytical approach and technical expertise to manage large ticket accounts
Role based in Allianz Care office in Saint-Ouen
