Key Account Manager – LANDEA (H/F)

Position Purpose & Summary
The role is providing Risk Management services and products to third parties (collectors/compound feed industries/millers/…) in Europe, successfully delivering on it ambitious growth goals. These services and products aim at developing farmers usage of risk management tools to help them protect against market volatility which may negatively impact their revenue. The position will be the customer contact to sell CASC EMEA LANDEA Risk Management services and products to selected third parties.

Principal Accountabilities
  • 50%    Interact with current and potential third party customers helping them to understand the value of Landea solutions and how to deploy to their farmer base. This includes: develop trusted relationship with key contacts at customers + provide trainings/coachings of customers staff about Landea services and products + support day to day business with customers
  • 20%    Be active in innovation process to develop value adding Landea RM solutions portfolio and related marketing plans. This would include project management development
  • 20%    Support Landea administrative processes to ensure 1st class contract execution and superior customer service experience
  • 10%    Interact internally with Cargill teams to develop RM culture, and identify RM opportunities from Cargill network.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • University degree in Agriculture preferred, Business, Economics or marketing could be a plus
  • Strong interest for farming activity,
  • Accepts travels up to 60% of time (Average expected about 30%)
  • Language skills: French and English (business fluent)
  • Excellent communication skills to convince and engage those selling our products to farmers
  • Passionate about the importance of grain marketing in farm’s performance and value for farmers and our partners
  • Strong listening skills to be able to develop high value customer insights
  • Diligent and precise in the after sales processes
  • Basic understanding of commodity markets and hedging opportunities/ needs
  • Be resilient and endured to further develop Landea with our partners
  • Be a team player and be willing to take tasks, challenge status quo and champion news ideas.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a marketer in Agribusiness (eg in grains collect, crop inputs, on-farm services…) with successful track record in Discovering and identifying customer needs, Identifying and presenting product (service) features, Customer Relationships Management
  • Good knowledge and understanding of futures and options markets is a plus
  • Previous trainer experience is a plus
  • Language skills: another language is a plus
