Our global Building Products unit is an important pillar of the Smart Infrastructure business. Our Account Management team is looking for a dedicated Key Account Manager being responsible for our large OEM customers within the HVAC domain. You will work in close collaboration with our colleagues from Product Management and Sales in the countries to guarantee the highest degree of customer happiness and commercial success. We look for a salesperson with the right seniority, experienced enough to discuss matters with our partners and internal colleagues all over the globe. Specifically, you will:

  • Develop and deploy global account strategies for successful sales development in alignment with our Product Segments and Sales Regions
  • Establish solid C-level partnership with targeted global OEM customers, maintain network with key decision maker and operate as key contact
  • Align global agreements with major, multinational OEM customers and develop sales opportunities for the geographical expansion in the relevant countries
  • Identify customer’s needs and build value propositions and customer specific solutions, in collaboration with Product Managers and our local Sales colleagues
  • Ensure harmonized sales activities in all customer locations, consolidate revenue, monitor progress and establish global conditions
  • Lead the sales opportunities to a successful implementation by mentoring and supporting our local Sales teams
  • Coordinate product launches, product information events and training sessions

The skills required

  • Degree in Engineering, ideally paired with further studies of Economics
  • Several years of experience in Key Account Management for global OEM accounts within the HVAC domain
  • Knowledge of local, regional and international OEM market environment
  • Well-founded technical know-how of the HVAC technology
  • Understanding how business is affecting customers OPEX and CAPEX and experienced in preparing argumentation on these aspects
  • You enjoy building and maintaining long term relationships with your customers and used to work efficiently in a global matrix organization
  • Proficient in English. German and any other European language would be a plus
