Job Description

A leading FMCG company is looking for a Key Account Manager to drive sales for skin care product in modern trade and OTC channel and to support the business vision of the company.

About the Key Account Manager (MT/OTC) Role:

As the Key Account Manager, you will develop BT (beauty therapist) in modern trade and OTC channels (key account/ local drug chain/over the counter) to become a professional skin consultant sales force with outstanding product knowledge/selling skills/skin care expertise over competitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage & develop BT area manager &BT team (vo-training develop material with Sales Training Manager)
    • Product knowledge vs competitors
    • Selling & consultant skills (recruit new user, drive regimen)
    • Merchandising/product display management
    • Data collection & report accuracy & on time (off-take/stock)
    • Coordinate with Key Account Manager & Area Manager & trade marketing to get the activity plan by outlets
  • Coach, motivate & drive team for achieving sales off-take target via competitor via incentive & recognition program to achieve business targets
  • Manage sales equipment, POS material and operate in-store activation effectively
  • Regular infield coaching and market visit
  • Manage data collection and analyse off-take & competitor data in order to recommend & develop tailor outlet counter attack plan to ensure winning in market share
  • Present the key finding and develop BT strategy & plan

To succeed in the Key Account Manager (MT/OTC) role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with other account managers.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • Five to seven years’ experience in key account management and/or leading merchandiser team in FMCG industry
  • Strong in people management with analytical mind
  • Well organise and strong in operation management
  • Selling skills
  • Data management & analysis
  • Presentation skills
