Who are we?

We are RateSetter, one of the world's largest peer-to-peer lenders. We have worked hard over the past four years to democratise lending with the aim of helping all Australians do more with less. We have made some great strides over the past 4 years - reaching $500 million in lending, over 100 people, growing at 100% year on year - and we're barely getting started. We want to bring our product to the people of Australia to help them achieve more, $1 billion of lending is firmly in sight, then shortly after, Australia's largest consumer lender.


We believe the financial system has become bloated and inefficient, and are leveraging technology and data to give value - and power - back to the consumer.

Requirements

What is the role?

  • Due to national growth, we are now seeking to expand our Relationship Manager team. The Relationship Manager (RM) is a relatively new function in RateSetter and has already seen some great success. So much so, that we will be looking to double the size of this team in the next 3 months.
  • You will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of existing vendor accounts. Through strong relationship management and sales, you will have a focus on fostering and driving sustainable business growth over time.
  • You will work collaboratively with the internal sales team and Business Development Managers, ensuring prospective vendor accounts are on-boarded, trained and transacting.
  • Experience in the Finance world is not core requirement - more importantly, we are looking for people who have a proven track record of results, love working in a collaborative environment and can really leverage their contacts to drive further success.
  • This team breaks records every week. The last 3 weeks in a row we have broken our all time lending records. This is a team that's on the up that you definitely want to be a part of.


To be awesome at this role, you would likely have:

  • 2+ years’ experience working within a Business Development or Key Account Management role
  • Proven Sales experience demonstrating how you have grown & developed a portfolio of accounts
  • Compiling lists of prospective client businesses using directories or other sources
  • Acquiring and updating knowledge of employers and competitors goods and services and market conditions
  • Assessing customers' needs and recommending and explaining our products to them
  • Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction with our services
  • Strong commercial acumen with a get up and go attitude

The salary range for this role is between $60,000 and $80,000 AUD plus super plus commission
