Job description

In your new job, you will be responsible for:

  • Floorplanning and area estimation of mixed-signal IP macros and subsystems
  • Analog and digital full custom layout of mixed-signal IP macros and subsystems
  • Layout verification for the IP macros and subsystems
  • Active communication and alignment with circuit designers
  • Active communication and alignment with subsystem and top-level layout teams to guarantee a smooth integration into their chip top-level

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this job if you have:

  • A university / university of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable
  • 5+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal full custom layout
  • Good understanding of integrated circuits such as matching, noise, coupling, shielding and IR-drop as well as all kinds of layout dependent effects (LDE) in deep submicron technologies
  • Knowledge of CAD tools for physical design (Cadence, Mentor)
  • Unix/Linux OS experience
  • Good English skills with German skills as a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H ( The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
