Category manager will be a dynamic person with customer centric and entrepreneurial mindset, you will have an extreme advanced knowledge of the FMCG industry across multiple categories, and still motivation of working in a start up pace team.
You will be responsible for the full category P&L, category strategy, pricing and you will contribute to Supermarket growth by optimizing campaigns, range, terms by always making data-driven decision.
You will work very closely with multiple teams of motivated people sharing the same passion and energy
Reporting to Head of Merchandising (Groceries), you will be responsible to
• Full P&L responsibility for the categories, including revenue , margin, wastage & other supplier income.
• Develop, execute and optimize category strategy, pricing, promotions, range, availability, campaigns performance and costs price to expand sales and margin
• Build, strengthen and manage relationship with key suppliers
• Offer a wide selection of products at always competitive prices
• Increase range by onboarding new suppliers and secure best trading terms
• Work with existing vendor base to negotiate terms improvement, secure supplier advertising spend, develop new incentive programs, and ensure a reliable and operationally effective flow of goods to our fulfillment center.
• Lead, manage, and elevate the suppliers & creative service teams, cross-functional teams and partner relationships
• Work closely with marketing and supply chain to forecast demand and ensure consistent supply
