Description: With minimal guidance, assists with risk management efforts for the assigned credit risk focus, such as Credit Analysis %26 Approval/Portfolio Management, Operational Credit Risk, Country Risk or Credit Administration. Helps with the development of documentation and reporting. Helps to improve each region%27s adherence to the risk management strategy of the assigned credit risk discipline. Helps to identify existing and emerging risks that are applicable to the assigned credit risk discipline.%0A%0APrimary duty for each discipline is as follows:%0A%0ACredit Analysis %26 Approval/Portfolio Management: With minimal guidance, contributes to analyses of industry, country and counter party credit portfolios and credit portfolio quality. Interact with portfolio managers, as needed. Contributes to legal documentation processes and structuring of term sheets and deals.%0A%0AOperational Credit Risk: With minimal guidance, contributes to the completion of numerous credit processing and assessment activities, including credit analysis, underwriting, borrower re-rating and transaction review and approval for intraday credit. Is beginning to approve and oversee a low quantity of non-complex credit processing and assessment activities.%0A%0ACountry Risk: With minimal guidance, contributes to the assessment and grading of credit quality for the assigned medium-sized, standard country. Continues to gain experience tracking the fiscal condition of sovereigns and drafts preliminary ratings for country borrowers. Assists with the preparation of country risk assessments and integration of standard assessments into portfolio management for the organization%27s overall credit risk.%0A%0ACredit Administration: With minimal guidance, contributes in credit reviews or credit submissions and other related administrative activities and operations for the various credit portfolios. Prepares credit proposals, gathers documentation and financial spreads. Audits credit proposals and confirms credit approvals are in compliance with policies. Continues to gain experience with credit systems, such as the credit borrower rating system and credit approval system. May be involved in analyzing and preparing adhoc and standard reporting for the credit risk portfolios.%0A%0ACommunity Reinvestment Act/Appraisal: With minimal guidance, contributes to the identification of the appropriate balance of investments, loan commitments and community activities to align with CRA corporate goals. Continues to gain experience reviewing real estate appraisals for commercial and residential properties. Proactively checks appraisal policies and procedures for consistency with the Bank%27s risk appetite and for compliance with various standard regulatory requirements.%0A%0AWith guidance, contributes to analyses of existing and proposed legislation, regulatory announcements and industry practices that are applicable to the assigned credit risk discipline. Reviews work with more senior professionals.%0A%0AAssists with the assessments of the effectiveness of current Credit Analysis %26 Approval/Portfolio Management, Operational Credit Risk, Country Risk or Credit Administration risk identification and mitigation projects.%0A%0AAssists with the completion of industry, country and/or counter party credit quality analyses for the assigned credit risk discipline. Begins to build familiarity with regional differences. Contributes to the implementation of new, approved Credit Analysis %26 Reporting, Operational Credit Risk, Country Risk or Credit Administration risk management solutions that comply with regulatory requirements.%0A%0ANo direct reports.%0A%0AContributes to the achievement of Credit Analysis %26 Approval/Portfolio Management, Operational Credit Risk, Country Risk or Credit Administration team objectives.%0A%0AModified based upon local regulations/requirements.%0A%0ABachelor s degree or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.%0A%0AFamily Requirements:%0A3-5 years of total work experience preferred. Prior experience/background in credit risk preferred. In addition, may require the following experience/skills based on primary duties:%0A%0ADiscipline Requirements:%0A%0ACredit Analysis %26 Approval/Portfolio Management: Formal credit training preferred. Ability to assist with the management of diverse lending, operating products, attendant risk, foreclosure, bankruptcy and/or OREO assets.%0A%0AOperational Credit Risk: Formal credit training preferred. Experience as an underwriter and assisting with the management of rapid-turnaround, intraday funds transfers and approvals.%0A%0ACountry Risk: Formal credit training preferred. Experience with borrower rating systems and tracking methodologies, and basic knowledge of fiscal and financial condition indicators.%0A%0ACredit Administration: Experience as an underwriter and familiarity with credit administration systems typically used by financial institutions.%0A%0ACommunity Reinvestment Act/Appraisal: Basic familiarity with the Community Reinvestment Act and experience conducting real estate appraisals.

Bachelor s degree or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Family Requirements: 3-5 years of total work experience preferred. Prior experience/background in credit risk preferred.
