What will you be doing?

We have now accomplished the launch of our latest product, but that doesn’t mean we are finished. The next step in our vision is to roll out new features and enhancements and ensure the platform evolves to a best in class superannuation and investments administration system built on modern cloud based technology.

You will work within a team of engineers and business analysts, be involved in an array of exciting projects working across all aspects of the Recreo platform including the configuration of end user environments, engineering of core services, and the development of business critical functions.

Some of your key accountabilities;

• Lead and mentor a team of Software Engineers
• Own the delivery of software packages through the end to end project lifecycle
• Collaborate with external stakeholders to propose the best technical solutions
• Support and uplift engineering best practices and capabilities
• Remain hands-on and provide technical thought leadership for the company as a whole

What experience we are looking for

Being a small, agile company, your ability to work closely with your peers will be the key to your success. The soft skills you bring will allow you to quickly and easily articulate an idea or problem which in turn leads to the best solution being implemented.

The key technical skills and experience we are looking for are:

• Ability to breakdown business problems, perform options analysis and make recommendations on desired technical solutions
• Exceptional understanding of modern engineering practices and application architecture
• Experience with cloud architecture infrastructure (Azure, AWS)
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in enterprise grade financial software, e.g. Superannuation, Banking, Insurance (Preferred)
