In the Lead, Health Care Information Systems (HCIS), you will provide technical leadership to team members and facilitate change management strategies as part of the surgical enablement portfolio. Build on your career experience as you: * Lead small to medium sized health informatics projects at various sites * Work with numerous partners and build strong linkages within the Fraser Health organization * Provide consulting services in the area of health informatics for the assigned clinical and clinical support areas of Fraser Health * Participate on enterprise-wide projects, as assigned by the Portfolio Manager * Review the system daily and respond to usability and security concerns * Upgrade systems, install and test with clinical business areas to meet operational requirements * Review and track system metrics for capacity and performance management Are you motivated to join us? We will be looking for you to have the following: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Health Information Science or a related discipline. * Five (5) years recent related business, systems analysis and administration experience. * Three (3) years project experience within a medium to large sized organization. * Experience with electronic health information systems such as Windows server System Administration, CompTIA A+ or similar certification * Experience with Intrahealth Profile, Civica Paris or MEDITECH is desirable. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable. This full time position is based at our Central City offices in Surrey, BC, with access to rapid transit, shopping, restaurants, on-site gym and other amenities.
