We have an exciting job opportunity for a Customer Acquisition Lead/Manager to join a company that takes pride in developing cutting-edge iGaming platforms and work remotely in Cape Town. You will need to be a paid marketing expert as you will be responsible for the mid and bottom of funnel paid performance marketing activities of the business. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic, highly talented, acquisition marketer with a proven track record in iGaming and an intimate knowledge of affiliate marketing, paid search and social, programmatic, web analytics, CRO and SEO.

Your key job responsibilities as the Customer Acquisition Lead/Manager in Cape Town (Remote) will include:

  • Develop and deliver strategic recommendations and execute all acquisition marketing roadmaps – including PPC, other biddable media/display, paid social media (with social media team) and affiliates (with outsource partner)
  • Contribute to development of the Marketing Budget and Forecast proposals, projecting market penetration and managing day-to-day spend across all media and channels
  • Responsible for recommending/selecting and managing appropriate 3rd parties/agencies to assist in the delivery of the acquisition marketing strategy
  • Responsible for delivery against targets with regular reporting on performance of all marketing activity on a daily/weekly/periodic basis and delivering findings and customer insight (with the marketing analyst) to the relevant business stakeholders
  • Monitor, report and act upon competitor activity to ensure retained growth within the market share/share of voice in all relevant GEOs
  • Responsible for ensuring that all media activity is sufficiently monitored, tracked, optimised and evaluated in order to monitor ROI
  • Accurately record all acquisition-related purchase orders/bookings, media costs, bonus and promotional costs and other expenditure and report on a weekly and periodic basis
  • Affiliate payment reconciliation and reporting

Requirements for this Customer Acquisition Lead/Manager job in Cape Town (Remote):

  • Proven track record as an acquisition or affiliate marketing manager, ideally been gained within one of the leading iGaming companies
  • An excellent knowledge of Betting-on-Lottery, Casino, Sports book and Bingo products
  • Very strong communications skills (written, verbal and presentational)
  • Tactical knowledge of all major media, including web, mobile, social, search/PPC, SEO, CRM, affiliate and event planning
  • Launching new products and services in multiple markets
  • International experience, including hands-on “front-line” marketing experience in several markets
  • Enhancing/extending a brand on an international scale, with a understanding of the principles of branding, messaging and communications in a highly competitive gaming market
  • Experience in developing and executing media plans supported by strong creative executions
  • Experience in directly managing and working with media, affiliate, CRO and creative agencies
  • Strong organisational skills and experience of balancing multiple projects at once
  • Experience of managing/auditing media and media agencies preferable
  • Strong customer ethos and the ability to channel insight into profitable deliverables
  • Strong traffic analysis and cost management/optimisation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of iGaming channel mix across grey and regulated markets
  • Strong Analytical skills, especially GA, Search Console and Affiliate BO (income Access)

  • Knowledge and experience of pixel tracking/reporting
