Lead Quality Engineer – Delivery Services

As a Senior/Lead Quality Engineer, you will ensure successful delivery of business initiatives in agreed time, cost and quality. Responsibilities include designing quality standards, testing resources management, developing process and quality control mechanisms in a cost effective manner. Additional capabilities of consulting experience and able to collaborate in a large scale, cross functional project to improve the quality of our system development and deliverable.
Candidate will be required to lead testing support over a busy, dynamic portfolio focusing on Individual Insurance and/or Group Insurance, Customer and Corporate Systems. He/She should be a highly motivated individual who enjoys engaging with all roles across the business and have a good attention to detail in analyzing the needs of the business.

We are looking for someone with:
Degree holder in information systems, business administration or related subjects
At least 10 years related working experiences
Superb in team management skills
Experience working in a testing resources management role on diverse projects, e.g. digital applications, core operating systems, strategic projects, etc
Well organized and attentive to details, flexible with working hours
Good analytical and problem solving skills and disciplined with project scheduling.
Self-initiated and have a strong drive to learn, responsible and willing to expose to new technology.
Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Chinese Word Processing
Knowledge of Confluence, JIRA, Xray, Bitbucket, test automation tools preferred
Demonstrated experience in using Agile and Waterfall methodologies and techniques
Demonstrated experience in using structured methodologies and techniques
Able to clearly express business processes and ideas verbally and in written English
Able to present confidently to groups of audience.
Has an enthusiastic approach to moving the business forward.
Able to drive creative thinking, beyond the boundaries of current knowledge base.
On the job you will:
Build and maintain lasting relationships with all business stakeholders and related business partners.
Participate in various product development, regulatory enhancement and customer focus projects, collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define and document test strategy, planning and execution processes to ensure developed solution are well tested and validated before launching to real business environment.
Manage onsite and offshore testing resources from both inhouse and vendors. Critically evaluate resources utilization, testing visibility, traceability and process control to deliver high quality output.
Lead the team in user acceptance testing planning and execution, review and approval sessions with stakeholders.
Provide test automation direction, hands on support to inhouse testing team and vendors.
Perform team lead duties including scheduling, reporting to management, supervising testing analysts, delegating and prioritizing workloads.
Resolve issues within and across teams.
Effectively communicate verbally and in written form to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Support supervising manager in guiding and managing work efforts of the testing teams as well as promoting an effective and efficient team.
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
