We have recently been building a new Corporate team in Perth and are now offering a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Assistant who would like to join this team as they embark on their exciting journey.  You’ll support two partners and a number of lawyers as they build their practice, working on significant and high-profile domestic and cross-border M&A and corporate transactions.

The role would suit a passionate and dedicated Legal Assistant, who enjoys being part of a high-performing team. 

Responsibilities

  • Diary management, including management of a calendar of events
  • File management, including opening and closing files, electronic and physical filing and scanning
  • Conduct billing, including end of month billing and reporting
  • Organise domestic and international travel
  • Client liaison, filtering incoming calls, dealing with inquiries and requests
  • Assist other Legal Assistants where necessary and provide back up as a buddy
  • General administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years prior experience gained within a top tier or large international law firm or a professional services firm
  • Experience managing a busy diary and can manage conflicting priorities
  • Strong client liaison skills and experience in dealing with confidential information
  • Previous experience in monthly billing using relevant financial software
  • A flexible, collaborative and proactive approach
  • Strong Microsoft Office and typing skills
