Damen Middle East Shared Services located in UAE is part of Damen Global Support provides support services for the divisions of Damen Shipyards Group in the areas of various expertise like Finance, Audit, Legal and Compliance.
Qualification – Para legal level with pre – experience in ADGM & UAE laws - 2 years of relevant experience
The Role
We are looking for a legal & compliance thus if you are a strong convincing (international) professional with a proactive attitude and do you have strong analytical skills and do you like being part of a multi-lingual international team? Then this might be the role for you!
As Paralegal Compliance you will support the Middle East office with the execution of Damen’s Compliance Program. You will foster a positive culture of compliance and ethics by working proactively with the business and other key functions to ensure that best practices and systems are in place to facilitate the growth of Damen’s business and the overall success in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations and internal policy.
Key accountabilities
- Supporting the executing of the middle east compliance strategy
- Performing internal control checks and recording third party due diligence (e.g. agents) and KYC screenings
- Documenting internal reviews, assessments and compliance audits
- Provide assistance to the group compliance team.
