Royal Freemasons Sale is a state of the art, 144 bed nursing home. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the team and make a real impact in your role. About You

An excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Lifestyle Assistant who is committed to providing quality lifestyle program within our successful and motivated team at our premium residential aged care home in Sale. 

You will report to the Leisure Coordinator to support the implementation and evaluation of all lifestyle activities, working closely with Volunteers, Therapy, and Care Staff.

You should be highly organised and self-motivated, someone who can manage your time and be flexible with your workload. If you have proven experience within aged care in a similar residential facility setting, we offer a great team to work with and a supportive working environment.

Key Requirements 

  • Certificate IV in Community Services (Leisure and Lifestyle)
  • Two (2) years’ experience in a similar role within the Health Care or Aged Care environment with exposure to residents with Dementia
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and clear written and spoken English
  • A passion for working in Aged Care and Lifestyle
  • Ability to work with a team and excellent customer services skills
  • Computer skills and ability to use Microsoft office
  • Smart phone and access to home internet required

  • Salary Packaging - as a Not-for-Profit organisation we provide the ability for our staff to salary package up to $16,173 per annum of your salary (inclusive of salary packaging and the administration fee) which significantly increases the take home value of your remuneration package. Additionally, you can salary package meals, entertainment and facility hire expenses including holiday accommodation up to a maximum of $2,550 per annum.
