Job Description



Our client based in Framlingham, Suffolk is looking for a 1st line Support Engineer to assist in the operation of the company’s support and customer services.

Key Duties:

• To provide 1st line technical support to customers on our range of telephony products

• To interface with internal teams, provisioning, sales and customers alike

• Receiving inbound calls & emails and responding to customer’s requests

• Troubleshooting a range of application and telephony issue, investigating, diagnosing faults, and working through to resolution

• Answer support questions on our products and services

• To ensure customer satisfaction in line with their expectations in a professional manner

Requirements:

• Knowledge of support of IT/VoIP/Telecoms customers and/or previous experience in this environment, covering analysis and troubleshooting for telephony functions is desirable

• Understand basic SQL; know how to query and manipulate data in tables using written SQL statements

Personal qualities:

• You will be able to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills

• Have meticulous organisation skills and attention to detail.

• A good telephone manner with the ability to clearly understand customer requirements

• Prepared to "Go the extra mile" to deliver timely fixes or updates for customers

• Enjoy being part of a team

• A quick learner and be keen to learn new technologies
