The Role

We have an opportunity for an experienced Logistics Analyst, with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities to join our rapidly growing business. The ideal candidate will enjoy the challenge of analysing all aspects of our supply chain and working on key logistics projects. In this role you will deep dive into our supply chain data and processes to identify cost reductions, as well as advise on continuous improvements to help reinforce greater efficiencies across our global network.

  • Support the daily, and long-term strategic needs of Logistics Management providing timely reporting and data support
  • Provide actionable insights through analytics
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities by identifying complete cost to serve
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain department and the wider business on development of tools and processes to drive data driven decisions
  • Work with the Supply Chain department and the wider business to identify key performance indicators (internal and external); develop an effective reporting suite for KPI’s in scope
  • Analyse and monitor all weekly & monthly KPI reporting and make recommendations for new performance measures
  • Build future prognosis based on historical results in combination with changes to our business, market and short to long term business growth plans
  • Identify gaps, trends and inefficiencies impacting business costs and processes
  • Pivot between different initiatives quickly to support projects as needed while being able to work at a micro and macro level
  • Continuous focus on improving relevant operational performance and productivity

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Analyst with an eye for detail and ability to quickly grasp new concepts, identify operational anomalies and communicate logistics trends. If you are an intellectually curious analyst, a team player, accountable communicator, and a strategic thinker with a proven ability to navigate complex supply chain problems, we look forward to exploring what you have to offer:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Logistics Analyst, Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, business, logistics, management information systems or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a supply chain team or as an analyst on supply chain projects
  • Possess an understanding of international trade, contracts and tariffs
  • MUST possess superior analytical and planning skills to review the operational performance of freight providers/service providers
  • Experience with BI tools (Qlik, PowerBI) will be highly regarded
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • MUST have proven experience working with large sets of data, both qualitative and quantitative, from varied sources to drive efficiency through data
  • Experience with creating reports/graphs (visual representations)
  • Proven ability to interpret data, make observations & recommendations
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Be aware of the impact and implications of decisions on other aspects of business.
  • Advanced Excel skills mandatory (Power Query, Microsoft flow)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
