The Logistics Coordinator will work daily with clients and vendors in all assigned aspects of client transportation needs. They will provide guidance and support to maintain a consistent and effective application of company supply chain practices. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for planning effectively, organizing and providing efficient transportation solutions for the entire lifecycle of our products, from source to final product distribution.

The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of our supply chain operations. They will work closely with client’s vendors to meet transportation needs and maintain high standards of service. Have a strong understanding of supply chain management principles and be able to provide guidance to ensure the effective application of these practices. Responsible for effectively planning supply chain solutions by managing transportation from sourcing to final distribution, while achieving margins and organizational efficiency goals.


  • Plan, coordinate and track the shipment of products according to customer requirements
  • Establishes shipping plans in support of production timelines and customer requirements.
  • Investigate customer issues and order problems to develop effective solutions for them.
  • Work to identify efficiencies in cost and timeliness of shipping processes
  • Develop new systems and methods to prevent customer complaints and feedback.
  • Manage the Freight Helpdesk by answering all inquiries in a timely and effective manner
  • Respond to client shipping and fulfillment inquiries and coordinate with freight and warehousing vendors
  • Reviews freight invoices and reports for accuracy and completeness prior approval
  • Prepare and manipulate weekly freight data files for reporting
  • Review unallocated charges or incomplete invoices and find resolution to all outstanding issues.
  • Train and educate users on company shipping processes and best practices.
  • Actively seek to reduce unallocated shipping cost by contacting vendors/clients via email and/or phone for corresponding job references.
  • Manage day-to-day risk associated with freight shipments and fulfillment logistics;
  • Monitoring and optimizing corporate margins.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve processes and resolve issues


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline
  • 1-2 years of international logistics experience preferred and supply chain management.
  • Experience on managing all aspect of shipment cycle (planning, quoting and booking) using vendor systems
  • Experience handling import and export processes of goods globally.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong analytical thinker with problem solving skills and mathematical abilities.
  • 1-2 years of experience on planning software
  • Able to work alone on a broad variety of projects
  • Highly proficient with MS Office Software, high aptitude for MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, highly proficient with data analysis, organizational.
  • Problem-solving skills and project management proven experience
  • Resourceful with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fully Bilingual (English-Spanish) with demonstrated proficiency in writing and speaking.
