Regional Senior Loss Prevention Security Manager

Position Summary
Lead the Loss Prevention function in the regional affiliates across multiple brands. Responsible for implementation and management of security strategies and standards to ensure protection of the Company’s customers, employees and assets. Work closely and in alignment with the regional office retail operations team, retail operation leads, brands and General Manager of the regional affiliates to build up a Standard of Excellence for the Regional Retail Operations Program. Manage the team of console operators and the daily operation of the Regional Command Centre (RCC) in the Hong Kong regional office to ensure the security and safety of the employees and to protect company assets. Work closely with the regional office Issues Working Groups and the regional office and regional affiliates’ crisis management teams to address and manage serious incidents and crisis situations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Loss Prevention

* Lead the development and implementation of the Retail Loss Prevention Strategy for the regional affiliates

* Identify, evaluate and introduce Loss Prevention and Exceptional Based Reporting solution for the APAC Region

* Partner with the Regional Retail Operations Team and Regional Finance Control to develop and implement Loss Prevention Training Programs and KPI measures in APAC Region

* Partner with the Regional Retail Operations Team and Regional Internal Audit Team to revamp and advocate the loss prevention, governance and compliance programs in the APAC Region

* Conduct internal & external investigations involving theft, fraud inventory variances and issues involving the safety and security of employees and customers and breach of company policies and procedures

* Proactively monitor controls to identify employee theft

* Identify and monitor value added activities from the role of each brand’s P&L

* Responsible for sourcing and maintaining a strong vendor relationships and securing the best practices and pricing for security related services and to ensure that all supplies and vendors provide and maintain a high standard of performance

* Partner with Global Loss Prevention Team and Regional Retail Operations to review and develop a Corporate Retail Security, Safety and Loss Prevention playbook

* Partner with Regional Indirect Procurement Team to identify, develop and build the Security and LP supplier network and assist in the RFP processes for the APAC Region. Offer recommendations and solutions in crisis situations such as burglary, work-place violence in line with the company’s policies and procedures

* Maintain a strong relationship with law enforcement agencies

* Establish a professional security network

* Provide required assistance and prompt response on any incidents or crisis to ensure the safety and protection of employees and company assets

* Establish proper security controls for all company assets
Regional Command Centre (Security)

* The “Duty of Care” of the company employees is the highest priority.

* Therefore the monitoring of the travel security program and working closely with the travel security and risk management vendors, corporate security organizations/network and ELC regional affiliates is highly important to ensure the safety/security of company employees and the protection of company assets.

* Closely manage the team of console operators that are assigned to the 24/7 Regional Command Centre (RCC).

* Closely manage the daily operations of the RCC to ensure that the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is strictly followed.

* Ensure that the daily tasks of the console operators for each shift are completed.

* Ensure that incidents of a serious nature are properly recorded on an incident report and escalated to the relevant regional affiliates and senior management.

* Ensure that the RCC provides the proper coordination and assistance as necessary to company employees.

* Ensure that the RCC operations manual is strictly followed.
Qualifications
Skills & Requirements

* Bachelor Degree Holder

* 8 years in Retail Loss Prevention, Corporate Security or an equivalent combination and training

* Experience in conducting investigations will be an added advantage

* Law enforcement investigation experience preferable

* Experience in deploying and managing Loss Prevention and Exceptional Based Reporting solutions is a must

* Experience in developing and conducting Loss Prevention training programs is essential

* Proficiency in analyzing loss and risk factors that impact the bottom line profitability
