Overview of the role:

This role will support the development of a fit for purpose asset care program across the various sectors within Veolia.

Work with all Veolia sites to introduce best practice using maintenance strategies via the Veolia in house Asset Maturity Assessment.

Focus to be on costs to asset & reliability with close coordination with Asset Maintainers including Engineering Planners, Engineering Specialists and Maintenance Technicians.

Day to day of the role:

  • Support the development and rollout of the appropriate asset care strategies, including spares management strategy to suit the business need

  • Work with all Veolia sites to introduce best practice using maintenance strategies via the Veolia in house Asset Maturity Assessment, while also using principles such as Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Mode, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

  • To lead reliability life cycle management of equipment, including design, operation and maintenance. This includes identifying and implementing site and global engineering best practice.

  • Development of long term maintenance planning forecasting tools and techniques

  • To communicate common failings and findings in order to agree areas for continuous improvement and support the defining and prioritising of Continuous Improvement projects.

  • Provides technical support to all work streams and support to maintenance teams

  • Participate in Reliability networks and share learnings and ideas

Required skills for this role:

  • Third level Qualification in Science, Engineering or equivalent is preferred, though not essential

  • Excellent communication and project management experience

  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge of Office packages (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel)

  • Ability to interrogate and develop maintenance systems and process flows

  • Facilitate maintenance workshops

  • Experience with using and maintaining CMMS Software
