EBS sits within CME Cash Markets, helping clients access liquidity and execute efficiently. We operate at the heart of the global foreign exchange markets providing electronic trading technology and services. We offer access to multiple execution options, valuable liquidity from diverse sources and help execute transactions efficiently. 

The role is to develop and support the continued growth of electronic FX trading volumes and counterparties on the EBS platform for the EMEA region.  Key success metrics to include Global Average Daily Volume, number of bilateral trading relationships, daily spread of currency pairs traded by customers, LP currency pair coverage, and other measures to be agreed.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

•    Build strong business relationships with regional Liquidity Provider (banks and non-banks) e-Sales, Trading, and Client Services teams with a view to grow the # of bilateral relationships trading over EBS between LPs and LCs across Spot, Precious Metals, NDFs, and Forwards, which ultimately would drive volume growth on the platform

•    Advise LP e-FX Sales to use the EBS platform as a means to distribute their pricing and extend client reach and align closely with overall strategy for the LP.  This would be facilitated through daily dialogue via phone, e-mail, chats and face-to-face meetings.

•    Engage with bank and non bank Liquidity providers on an ongoing basis to provide gap analyses on their e-distribution setup over EBS, help with client tier mappings, and perform quantitative analytics over trading data

•    Work closely with the EBS/CME Regional Sales teams to understand counterparty requirements (in terms of LPs, ccy pair coverage, liquidity and spread), and track key regional sales metrics.

•    Work closely with the EBS Integrations team, Onboarding team and Customer Support team on new client onboarding, connectivity over EBS and everyday operational management of trading activity. 

•    Attendance and participation at in various regional and global internal meetings with LP Managers , Trade Execution Team, Sales and Product to gather and/or deliver relevant EBSD/EBSM information

•    Uncover and share regional success stories, and best practices to overcome obstacles

•    Lead and/or participate in regional strategies with the Regional Sales Manager 

•    To fulfil any additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

•    Excellent interpersonal and sales skills are essential with the ability to clearly communicate with a broad range of personality types.
•    Analytical and data crunching skills

•    Ability to survive and thrive in a competitive marketplace and break through resistant customer attitudes through demonstrating persistence 
•    Technologically competent, able to work with and understand trading applications including e-Commerce solutions.
•    Ability to influence and work with in a matrix organisation and always be looking to improve team work, simplify how we work and be support the wider mission and team.
•    Team player who always looks to align and influence within the wider team lead by example.

KNOWLEDGE: 
•    Deep knowledge of e-Commerce FX Trading and FX market structure. Broad knowledge of other financial markets.
•    Good awareness of competitor offerings including other MDP’s and SDP’s. 
•    Understanding and knowledge of e-Risk management.
•    Understanding of API connectivity and FIX Protocol 
•    Knowledge of coding languages such as VBA excel, SQL and Python would be helpful.
