This summer, BNP Paribas Canada open its doors to you for a paid Summer Internship from May to August 2021.
During that time, the Interns will benefit from a program composed of several corporate events, including a welcoming session, training and presentation to Management.
We are looking for a Summer Intern in our Change Management department.
MISSION AND OBJECTIVES
The Change Management department has the overall responsibility to accompany the Canada Platform in its growth as a best in class delivery center. In this context, the teams bring their expertise on smart sourcing and Process Improvement is critical along with workspace management, procurement and operational resilience.
The intern will be part of a dynamic, transversal and evolving environment, which is part of a wider regional model.
We are looking for motivated, avid-learners and proactive profiles. You will work in close collaboration with team members, interact with Business and actively participate in project activities.
Our ideal candidate will bring knowledge of hands-on SharePoint development (website, work-flows, etc.), problem solving skills and experience delivering solutions to end users.
This internship will provide the opportunity to learn about Process Improvement and Change Management.
Provide Project management support to the Head of Transformation and team
Perform a critical review on the current web-based collaborative platforms (Sharepoint) with the contribution of inputs from the team and business managers to re-design a tool, which is adapted to business needs, is client-friendly and easily maintainable.
Knowledge of SharePoint is a strong requirement.
Develop new or enhance existing SharePoint workflows
Help to populate or coordinate data input into the platforms and deliver a user guide.
Assist with implementation and monitoring of dashboards to ensure a proper monitoring of projects deliverables and timeline. Good knowledge of coding in VBA and Power BI is needed to be at ease with the creation of dashboards.
Gain exposure to the mechanics of initiating, facilitating and supporting the execution of continuous improvement projects (LEAN)
Participation to ad-doc projects
KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
TRAINING AND OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Student in 2 nd year of Bachelor's or 1 st year Master’s degree
Preferred fields of study: Business systems, Information systems or Information Technology
ESSENTIAL SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Sharepoint Workflow development and understanding
Familiarity or experience with SharePoint Sandbox Solutions
Experience using Microsoft Power BI
In-depth knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), VBA programming skills
SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS
Fluent in French and English
Project management skills and ability to work under pressure
Ability to understand and summarize complex and/or technical issues
Prioritization of tasks / organization and ability to multi-task
Solid organizational and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and the ability to work with a distributed multinational and multicultural teams
Good communication skills
