The Communications & Organizational Change Manager is responsible for developing and delivering effective internal communications and change strategies for highly visible activities in support of a diverse employee audience. This position calls for a creative and strategic business-minded thinker and talented communications professional with exceptional writing, project management and stakeholder management skills. The ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment is essential. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging and informative employee-targeted communications plans and content across all areas of the business and delivering those messages through a variety of communications channels and mediums. This individual must be able to communicate business, HR, financial, operational and cultural information clearly and accurately, including the ability to develop content that is accessible, understandable, and engaging for the audience. This includes aligning messaging with the company’s purpose, mission, priorities and culture, understanding diverse employee needs, and developing plans and tactics that address those needs.

What you will do:

  • Develop and implement innovative communication and change management strategies and plans
  • Establish a regular cadence of relevant, easily accessible content through various communication channels targeted to our diverse employee base
  • Coordinate closely across the team to ensure message alignment and integration across multiple topics and channels
  • Measure, report and adjust communications and change management activities as part of the larger Communications team
  • Advises business project sponsors and teams on change management and communication approaches to support successful project outcomes
  • Develops communication and change management plans in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders to execute strategic initiatives
  • Monitors communication plan milestone completion; identifies process and operational roadblocks; owns and consults solution development with stakeholders, and escalates critical decisions to reach alignment
  • Owns major end-to-end processes and events on a project, takes initiative, and uses problem solving skills to think beyond the task to the outcome that needs to be achieved
  • Independently gathers information from a variety of sources; to analyze, interpret, and summarize data gathered, and to deliver insights
  • Creates comprehensive and effective change management strategies to mitigate risk and ensure project success
  • Establishes partnerships and consults with key business stakeholders and team members
  • Fosters teamwork, collaboration, and learning within the team contributing to a positive work environment
  • Provides feedback to project team members as necessary for high performance
  • Knowledgeable in strategic communications planning methodology, leading edge practices, trends and information; aware of employee engagement strategies and innovative tactics being applied in the marketplace
