This job holder will responsible for maintaining tax compliance within PLA financial transaction, Risk management, Compliance Reporting of Finance Department and managing corporate tax reporting and administration appropriately and timely.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Tax Reporting & Tax Compliance
Ensure tax reporting processes are managed timely, accurately, and giving assurance on fully compliance to prevailing tax regulation, with the key measurements are as follows:
To prepare monthly Local & IFRS Corporate Income Tax calculation to be reported to regional and accounting including deferred tax, investment tax (gross up & non gross up), and fiscal depreciation.
To collect withholding proof of PLA which withheld by dividend payor
To calculate and prepare Annual Corporate Income Tax.
To ensure proper tax treatment is implemented for Entertainment List, Promotion List, and Donation which will become an attachment of Annual Corporate Income Tax.
To prepare and calculate quarterly and monthly installment of article 25
To ensure for providing accuracy of any adjustment journal related to taxation amount and to ensure all tax account balance are reconciled after the adjustment is made.
To do tax review on any ACR, Agreement, Project Proposal, New Product Launch, New Fund Launch, Significant Financial Transaction, Partnership and Outsourcing / Third Party Engagement.
To ensure proper follow up is completely done on any tax inquiry, tax filing, tax over booking, and tax proposal / request to the we proposed to tax authority.
To lease with internal PLA function and third party (i.e. vendors, sales force, business partners, customer) regarding any query, implementation of new regulation, socialization of new tax treatment, etc.
To ensure tax review for payment activity are smoothly maintain, to ensure the process are within the agreed TAT.
To ensure all tax query coming from tax office, other departments / functions, local management, RHO and GHO are completely responded within the given timeline.
To ensure process document and signoff within tax department are maintained, and to do regular monitoring and assessment to ensure all process are documented and compliance to local and RHO policies, and no significant finding.
To ensure tax figures and tax notes in PLA audited financial statement are valid and supported with documented calculation, reconciliation, and listing.
To ensure all offshore transaction within the company are supported with sufficient TP documentation, and to maintain it in regular basis in order to satisfy any tax audit requirement.
To liaise with 3rd party consultant for preparation of Transfer Pricing Documentation and ensure the documentation is met with local tax requirement.
To ensure all tax documentation and process are compliance to UDA requirement, and any data transfer activity are compliance to Data Transfer policy.
To ensure regular tax reporting and analysis to local management and RHO (i.e. Global Tax Contribution, monthly withholding tax analysis, Big 4 expenses, etc) are timely reported and ready for review 2 days before the deadline.
2. Tax Planning, Tax Project, and Tax Audit
Ensure all tax planning, tax audit, and tax audit are properly managed. The key measurements are as follows:
Providing consultancy and business analysis to the company on the tax related mater to support management in any risk-based decision-making processes.
To coordinate any tax audit / tax dispute process, to ensure PLA deliver the required documents within the due date, to prepare all the correspondence letter to ensure we meet all tax audit / tax dispute filing deadline. To prepare proper ACR sign off before doing the tax assessment payment to tax authority.
To proactively update any new tax regulation and development to all team member and to supervisor. To do gap analysis on any new regulation which impact to company business. To identify any potential risk and financial loss on the implementation of new tax regulation. To document the tax planning that has been decided by management related to the implementation of those new regulations.
To do socialization to respective department / functions, parties, and to do monitoring on the compliance assurance of the new regulation.
To maintain SOP, Tax Guideline, Tax Planning sign off and documentation, and to manage the new tax treatment which are triggered by any tax audit / internal audit finding.
To support tax function on any tax project and to report the progress of the project to supervisor in regular basis. To ensure the project are executed within the given timeline.
To maintain good monitoring of Department compliance, in order to avoid any breach to internal, regional, group and regulatory policy / guideline. To maintain timely compliance reporting, and to close any breach within 7 working days.
To carry out responsibilities as PLA Risk and Compliance Coordinators effectively and in accordance with the policy and guidelines to ensure high quality in identification and management of risks, which are including timely submission of regular and adhoc risk and compliance reporting (i.e. Incident Report, Departmental Risk Register, Turnbull Certification, Scenario Analysis, Ad-hoc Risk and Compliance Reports, Exemptions and Variations, and attendance at Risk and Compliance Coordinator and other risk management meetings), and increasing it’s report quality.
4. People Management
To conduct coordination meeting with related function regarding solve any tax issue.
To arrange and conduct tax training for tax team and finance team in regular basis, to ensure the training is timely and successfully conducted.
To improve leadership skill from time to time to be able in managing team performance and to ensure all individual KPI of team member can be achieved.
Training and development schedule of team member are fully executed through coaching and close monitoring.
To build good working attitude, healthy working environment, and working efficiency.
Job Requirements :
University degree in accounting or taxation
Hold brevet A, B & C certification
Hold USKP A & B certification is an advantage
Preferably had min 6 years experienced in Public Accountant/Tax Consultant with last position at supervisory/Senior/AM level
Good knowledge in Indonesian Taxation
Good knowledge on Insurance company corporate tax
Good command of English
Good report writing skill, analytical and communication skill
Computer literate and adept in MS Office and relevant financial software tools
