Job Description & Summary

We are looking for talented experienced professionals to join our Customer practice
as part of PwC"s Management Consulting department. We are a dynamic growing
team based in Belgium of about 15 people, embedded in PwC’s European Customer
 

Consulting practice with a total headcount of approximately 100 people.
As a member of our Customer team, you will help our clients address business-critical
issues, and support executive and senior management level decision makers in finding
solutions to answering complex dilemmas in the area of (digital) growth strategy,
customer experience, sales and marketing, customer service, and pricing. Our contacts
at clients usually happen at CxO level or at the level of business unit heads and
other members of the senior management team. Client engagements last typically a
few months, but we also develop multi-year, wide-ranging and transformative
relationships. 
 

What you will do

Managers are responsible for managing end-to-end projects. This includes liaising
with clients, working closely with the PwC project team and managing one or more
junior consultants. You will contribute to a wide range of projects across various
industries (with a primary focus in the consumer and industrial products industries),
helping our clients cope with the challenges they are facing. Your role encompasses:
 

Analysis and insight: Analyse complex client issues and demonstrate expertise and
understanding of the functional and industry challenges


Engagement delivery: Deliver and manage (parts of) engagements, including leading
the approach, liaising with stakeholders, and managing workload within the project
team 


Relationship building: Build relationships between PwC and the clients project
team, have quality discussions with clients at various levels, demonstrate creativity
combined with strong functional and industry knowledge


Communication: Structure, write and deliver presentations and other deliverables and
share both orally and in writing with internal and client leadership


Business development: Build follow on opportunities at clients and contribute to / lead
proposals and support the development of client offerings


Team development: Provide professional development opportunities and feedback for
junior team members


Firm development: Contribute to firm activities and internal knowledge management and
sharing
 
What you have


Successful candidates will have a degree from a top-tier academic institution, have
several years of relevant business experience, and the ability to meet each of the
following criteria: 
- Strong academic background 

- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in (digital) growth strategy, customer
experience, sales and marketing, customer service, or pricing gained directly from
working in commercial positions or from relevant project work within a (strategy)
consulting firm 
- Insightful thinker, confident with concepts, analyses and frameworks
- Energetic team player with an enthusiastic, positive, "can do" attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with notable presence and confidence
- Leadership qualities, project management skills, and people management and
development skills 
- Ability to plan, structure and prepare client ready-work 
- Ability to work on multiple, overlapping tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently
- Passionate about doing an outstanding job, both for the client and for PwC
- Fluency in English and either Dutch or French; working knowledge of the other
