Your primary responsibilities will include:

Our Aylmer office is searching for a Manager of Accounting with strong client relationship skills:

  • Preparation of year-end engagements and corporate tax returns for a variety of small to medium sized businesses
  • Assisting individual clients with personal tax returns during tax season so they get the best possible tax treatment
  • Communicating with clients regarding specific information requirements and government compliance reporting
  • Participating with the entire team to service the needs of our clients who are individuals and businesses in Southwestern Ontario

A successful candidate will have:

  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is required
  • Ability to prepare and complete working papers and financial statements according to CPA standards and good working knowledge of Caseware, Quickbooks, TaxPrep, etc.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience in public accounting and management
  • Ability to lead, mentor, train and develop junior staff
  • Adaptable to new technologies in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong accounting knowledge in agricultural/farming, would be an asset
  • Enjoy interacting with clients and fellow team members to achieve the best results for our clients
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Be flexible according to the individual needs of our clients’ service needs

Application Information:

The standard work week is Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with some flexibility.  During our busy tax season, we often require additional hours and some Saturdays.
