What is your role going to be?

This role will focus on the managing the technical processes related to software development and will assist in maintaining the high quality of new software systems. This role will focus on ensuring the software project security, and work to keep new technology by utilization of new tools and trends. 

• Managing multiple product development teams
• Handling technical as well as people aspects of the teams
• Goals setting for the team members and help them achieve their goals
• Define career path for team members as per their aspirations and help them achieve it
• Conflict resolution
• Responsible for on time delivery with high quality
• Assist in promoting a positive team culture

What are we looking for?

• 10 to 15 years of software development experience
• 2 to 3 years of experience of managing teams
• High level proficiency in the Agile methodologies like Scrum, XP, Kanban etc.
• High level proficiency in the Spark, Kafka, Hive and other Big Data/Hadoop Eco-System, Data warehousing/ETL tools.
• Understanding of design principles, threading, real-time processing, and SQL Server DB queries and performance tuning 
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Experience debugging and performance tuning applications and services
• Desire and skill in coaching more junior engineers
• Passion for doing what is right for the team, our company, and our customers

What might also help?

• A good understanding of the payment domain
• Working experience with TFS builds, releases, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools Jenkins, docker would be an added advantage
• Experience in the payment industry 
• Cloud based certifications Integration experience using both Web based technologies (Soap, Rest) -Integration/Middleware tools such as Informatica, Jitterbit and MuleSoft
• Working knowledge of security concepts such as single sign on and data security (Shield)
