Following the recent appointment of one of Australia’s most accomplished sustainability leaders, a new role has been created for a Manager, Climate and Carbon on a permanent, full-time basis.
The role
Reporting to the General Manager Sustainability and Community, this senior role will be responsible for strategic insight and subject matter expertise to the organisation on climate, carbon and emissions policy, management and performance.
This role will also lead the implementation of the Climate Change Management Plan and associated targets, metrics and initiatives, and provide SME leadership to identify and evaluate emissions reduction and carbon management opportunities.

This role will suit someone with a technical grounding who can bridge the gap between climate and economic/ finance language. You will have had enough exposure to engineering to make meaningful contributions when assessing opportunities and an authentic engagement approach.
