Position Overview
We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Digital and eCommerce to lead our eCommerce and Digital Business in ANZ. The Manager will be the leading voice of ANZ eCommerce and Digital Business and will help define and execute against the Autodesk digital & ecommerce strategy in ANZ.
This person will exceed ecommerce and inside sales objectives for the ANZ business. These objectives include billings, subscribers, traffic, conversion rates and customer experience. In addition, they are responsible for identifying local platform improvements and developing/executing local strategies and tactics that drive towards Autodesk’s digital goals. This role reports into the Director of Digital & eCommerce, APJ for Autodesk.
The ideal candidate is customer-oriented with excellent ecommerce and digital marketing skills as well as deep expertise in the ANZ B2B eCommerce market. This position is highly cross-functional – working closely with global team’s key stakeholders, business partners and the senior management team. Partner organizations include Channel and inside sales, UX, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Digital Acquisition (SEO, SEM, Display, Social Media) and Affiliate Marketing.
To be successful in this role, you will need the ability to successfully strategize, plan, collaborate, influence and speak to both business and technical teams. You must be able to work independently, define creative solutions, and also have a history of successful ecommerce and paid media experience. As an innovative, results-driven professional, with a proven track record of significant sales growth, you will have a solid understanding of the digital customer experience and excellent paid media optimization skills.
  • Actively lead efforts to exceed digital and ecommerce goals in ANZ
  • Relentlessly drive for localized digital experiences that exceed expectations, drive engagement, and increase conversion in ANZ
  • Work with senior leadership and business partners to help create long term eCommerce & digital strategy
  • Be the voice of ANZ in all aspects of the digital business
  • Ensure successful planning, execution, optimization for key business drivers such as promotions, site merchandising, and digital marketing
  • Partner with Demand Generation/Marketing to execute full-funnel customer experiences, including paid and owned marketing, to deliver on the billings and seats goals
  • Collaborate with internal partners across Autodesk to create innovative solutions that drive a superior customer experience and path to purchase
  • Integrate usability studies, customers feedback, research and market analysis into testing and optimization plans to enhance customers satisfaction
  • Set the benchmark for relevant, localized, outstanding experiences
  • Facilitating cross-functional planning & execution in the region, working closely with Inside Sales leadership, Demand Generation leadership, Client Services and eCommerce Support, Finance
  • Regularly report on progress against targets providing local insight
  • Making data-driven decisions, to optimize performance. You’ll work with your organization’s analytics, testing and optimization teams as well as others across the company to acquire and understand the data and your customer profile

Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years experience in B2B eCommerce and direct business in ANZ. Experience with Autodesk’s addressable market and personas a strong plus
  • Experience in promotions, merchandising, and creating effective customer web experiences on a self-owned eCommerce platform
  • Sales experience or close familiarity with the terminology and how sales teams work
  • Strong communication skills and a highly collaborative approach. Communication and influencing skills are critical in this role. Able to listen, seek to understand, facilitate difficult conversations, communicate vision, and courageous with differing points a view. At times, willing to disagree and commit
  • Experience with ANZ paid media ecosystem, especially Google & Facebook
  • Data driven decision making skills. Keen analytics skills, especially with Adobe Analytics. Understand and have experience with A/B and multivariate testing. Able to use data from multiple sources to drive meaningful decisions and actions
  • Understand and ability to manage key metrics, from traffic and purchase conversion to page load times. Understand how each of these impacts your ability to meet goals and know how to influence them
