Ecommerce Capability Manager

The Manager, eCommerce Capabilty will faciliate the growth of the eCommerce business through development and execution of projects to optimise the end-to-end consumer experience. They will be adaptable to the fast evolving digital commerce environment and drive initiatives that provide the business with a strong ROI.

You will work in a cross-functional environment within the Pacific, South East Asia and Global Centres of Execellence to support the implementation of the the eCom roadmap and have a clear understanding of business levers which impact ecommerce commercial success, conversion rate, traffic, average order value and how to positively impact each of these. You understand best in class consumer/visitor experience in the modern digital world and have a continually evolving perspective on the optimal consumer journey.

Key elements of the role:

  • driving prioritized expansion plans through local, regional and global stakeholders/functional streams leveraging global system and processes as available
  • responsible from research and scoping to roll-out through to hand-over to business facilitating smooth operations post launch
  • support yearly roadmap build with factual data from industry, market, regional and global organization to enable fact based priority setting
  • monitoring of key KPIs and operational activity in sustain phase utilizing a number of analytics tools
  • Other duties, as required.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have the following skills/qualities/experience:

  • Advanced project management skills with at least 2 years experience on cross-functional projects
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms, preferably Demandware
  • Advanced experience with major analytics platforms (i.e. Google analytics, Omniture)
  • The candidate must be self-directed, have strong influencing skills and is able to work in a highly flexible and informally structured environment. Exemplary multi-tasking and time management skills are a necessity.
  • An excellent command of the English language, both oral and written, and the ability to effectively communicate and positively influence both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working with OMS like SAP AFS
  • College or University degree
  • Working knowledge of the apparel and / or sports industry is an asset
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in a major eCommerce or digital marketing organization
